Welcome to our Practice

We believe the relationship between you and your Dental Hygienist is very important. Good oral health can reduce risk factors contributing to heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
At our clinic, everyone gets the attention he or she needs to bring out their best smile.

Proud to be a part of the following;

In 2007, the province of Ontario increased access to dental hygiene services by allowing hygienists to operate independent of a dentist. Dental and oral health care is now more accessible. On The Cusp Dental Hygiene Care will work with you to establish a plan that will include disease prevention, therapeutic interventions and appropriate referrals when required. We work collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure that your health needs are addressed safely, effectively and efficiently.

It's never too early (or late) to set good dental care habits in motion. The signs of gum disease may include bleeding or swollen gums. It’s an infectious condition that can result in the destruction of gum tissue and bone. If left untreated, the bacteria that cause gum disease may travel through the blood stream and be a risk factor for a number of serious health conditions such as heart disease, stroke, respiratory diseases, diabetes, and pregnancy complications.

The link between oral infections and other diseases in the body is becoming well documented and accepted within the health care community. It underscores the importance of good oral hygiene and the role dental hygienists play in preventing oral disease.
